Mental Health Counselling

Individual Counselling

Personalized support for your mental wellbeing and personal growth.

My Speciality

Burnout Recovery & Stress

When you work in high-pressure environments, it’s often necessary to stay in a constant state of hypervigilance. I help you identify the early signs of emotional burnout and provide tools to regulate your nervous system.

Career Transition Support

A promotion, a new industry, or relocating to a new country can trigger deep uncertainty. I help you navigate the identity shifts and anxiety that come with major change, and build confidence in your new workplace.

Confidence & Inner Critic Work

Many high achievers are driven by a harsh inner voice that criticizes themselves. I help you understand where this criticism comes from and how to move toward assertive self-worth.

Emotional Stability & Healthy Boundaries

Beyond the workplace, life brings its own complexities. I help you navigate the anxiety, build resilience against life’s uncertainties, and establish healthy boundaries in your relationships.

How I Support You

Humanistic Approach

I adopt a person-centered approach to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space to allow you freely express your thoughts and feelings. Empower you to look for internal and external resources.

Somatic Techniques

By combining Somatic awareness (recognizing your body sensations) and therapeutic dialogue, we transform self-doubt and self-criticism into grounded confidence.

Mindfulness-based Intervention

We focus on grounding techniques to manage anxiety and use mindfulness to help you stay present and decisive during times of feeling overwhelmed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is counselling and how does the process work?

Counselling is a collaborative, professional relationship that provides you with a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings. Unlike talking to a friend, our work is guided by specific therapeutic frameworks to help you gain objective insight.

How is counselling different from career coaching?

While coaching often focuses on external goals and performance, counselling looks at the person behind the professional. We explore the underlying patterns, self-doubt, and nervous system responses that drive burnout or anxiety. My goal is to help you achieve internal stability and resilience, which naturally leads to better performance and more sustainable success.

How many sessions will I need?

Every journey is unique. Some clients find clarity in 6 to 10 sessions focused on a specific transition, while others prefer longer-term support for deep-seated patterns of anxiety or trauma. I usually recommend starting with a 6-session foundation to allow us to build trust and begin meaningful somatic work. We will review our progress regularly to ensure the pace feels right for you.

Is remote counselling as effective as in-person sessions?

Yes. I work exclusively online via secure video platforms (Google Meet), which allows me to support professionals across different time zones. Many clients find that being in their own comfortable, private space allows them to go deeper into the work. It also removes the stress of a commute, making it easier to integrate support into a busy global schedule.

What do I need to prepare for my first online session?

You don’t need a list of answers. My role is to guide the conversation. However, to get the most out of our session, I recommend the following:

Comfort: Have a glass of water or a notebook nearby if you find it helpful to jot down reflections.

Privacy: Ensure you are in a quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted.

Technology: Use a stable internet connection and headphones for better audio quality and an added layer of privacy.

Mindset: Give yourself 5 minutes of “buffer time” before and after the session to transition out of your work tasks.
